October 4, 2011: Hunting Works for North Dakota to Host Hunting Season Celebration Banquet

Bismarck, ND – Hunting Works for North Dakota, a broad group of local and regional leaders representing North Dakota sporting organizations, small businesses, lodging and retailers, will be holding a hunting season celebration banquet for their partners and local hunting supporters on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Bismarck Elks Lodge, 900 South Washington Street, Bismarck, N.D.

The free event, which is open to the hunting supporters who RSVP, will feature a dinner and program keynoted by Lt. Governor Drew Wrigley. Other speakers include Game & Fish Dept. Director Terry Steinwand with a hunting season update and preview, and ND Tourism Division Director Sara Otte Coleman on the impact of hunting around the state. Several partners will also provide a short note on the importance of hunting to our heritage and economy.
